From within your Gmail inbox, select “Settings.”

Select “Accounts and Import.”

Select “Add another email address you own.”

Enter the name you want to display for yourself, in your Gmail inbox, in the first field. Enter your new domain name email address, from which you want to send, in the second field. I recommend un-checking the box labeled “Treat as an alias.”

Gmail will automatically place “smtp.” in front of the domain name of the email address. Replace “smtp” with “mail” in the first field, which is labeled “SMTP Server.” Keep your domain name after “mail.”
Gmail will automatically fill in your email, without the domain, as the “username,” in the second field. Add “@” and your domain name. The username is your full email address of the new domain name email, with which you want to send.
Enter the password for your new domain name email.

Fall Dev Hosting has already set up your new domain name email to forward all emails sent to it, to your Gmail account. You should get the confirmation email from Google in your Gmail inbox. Click the link in the confirmation email to verify your email.

Once you’ve verified your new email for sending, you can use it by selecting it from the dropdown, which appears when you click on your “from” email address.
